Register cell phones for emergency contacts

The decreasing number of homes with landline phones and the recent
early-season wildfires in Colorado have increased local interest in
registering cell phones to receive emergency notifications.

Larimer County residents can go to the website for LETA, the Larimer
Emergency Telephone Authority, www.leta911.org/, to register cell phones
or business phones. Once in the system, those numbers will receive
emergency notifications via automated calls, text messages or e-mails in
addition to calls on their traditional hard-wired home phones, which
are already in the system.

The Weld County Reverse 9-1-1 notification system also requires
residents to opt-in to receive emergency notifications on wireless or
VoIP phones.

Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.
