Jim Loftus has been in active real estate for approximately 42 years, having acquired his Realtor’s License in 1973. He formed his own real estate investment company in 1978, and shortly thereafter co-founded Loftus-Walker Construction, Inc. As a compliment to this organization, Mr. Loftus also co-founded The Colorado Group and The Colorado Management Group, offering full service leasing, sales, and property management. These companies continue to thrive today under new ownership.
As a developer and builder, Mr. Loftus has been responsible as an entity or partnerships for numerous developments in the greater Denver/Boulder area, including more than 4.5 million square feet of mixed use office, retail, and multi-family projects.
Recently completed projects include Baseline Crossing (16,000 square foot shopping center), Chestnut Place-a mixed use development in Denver, and Centre Court- a mixed use development in Louisville, CO. Centre Court consists of 111 apartments, retail and an Alfalfa’s natural grocery store.
Projects in the development process or construction process include Ralston Creek North, a large mixed use project in Arvada; The Armory, a mixed-use project in North Boulder; and the relocation of Land Rover Flatirons and Sil-Tehar Jaguar to a combined highly visible location in Broomfield.
