Chuck Bellock is the founder and CEO of Community Development Group, one of Colorado’s leading developers of master planned communities. After graduating with finance degrees from The Pennsylvania State University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, Bellock arrived in Boulder Colorado in 1970. He formed Community Development Group shortly after with a focus on gaining difficult entitlements in growth restrictive jurisdictions in the greater Boulder area. Chuck’s vison has guided each of CDG’s past projects including Coal Creek Ranch and The Colorado Tech Center in Louisville, The Broadlands and Red Leaf in Broomfield, South Pointe in Lafayette, Berkshire Crossing and Pradera in Douglas County. Current CDG projects include Colliers Hill, Erie Commons, Morgan Hill and Summerfield in Erie, Wyndham Hill and SilverStone in Frederick and Sweetgrass in Dacono.
Chuck’s beliefs in community have led them to become a strong supporter of numerous Boulder organizations including Community Food Share, the Boulder Shelter and Bridge House and he has hosted the Community Food Share Tee up for Hunger golf tournament for 27 years.
